There's also a BBQ stand for grilling and making for a memorable beach experience! In the mornings, sip your steamy mug of joe from the cabin’s adjoining deck or front porch while listening to the tranquil sounds of waves crashing in the distance. In the evenings, gather with your loved ones in front of the glowing fire pit while roasting marshmallows and sharing laughs and stories of the day's adventures. Plus, the stars are amazing at the beach cabins on clear nights! Additionally, you’ll have access to the community's 24/7 fitness center year round and an outdoor non-chlorinated heated pool (open Memorial Day through the end of September).

The By-the-Day Dreamer has an optional add-on in-law suite situated right behind the main cabin, next to the jacuzzi. This is only available with the main cabin rental. Encompassing 500 square feet of tastefully decorated living space, the suite features a studio with a king-sized bed, a living area with a sleeper couch, a 2-person dining table, a kitchenette with the basics of a small refrigerator, coffeemaker, microwave, and minimal eating utensils. There is also a full size bathroom with a two-person sauna and shower for your convenience. As of October 1st, the lovely little lofts will once again be offered as a sleeping space. Lofts will include a queen bed, and two sleeping mats for playing games. The cottage is designed to enjoy common recreation areas, like an outdoor heated seasonal swimming pool, deck overlooking the Pacific, and a big central park with a playground and sand volleyball. Beach access is nearby via three routes, and shops and restaurants are located within easy walking distance.

Perched at the top of the Olivia Beach community, you’ll have the best of Oregon’s coast right at your doorstep! With three beach access points just minutes from the cabin, you can walk or drive to the stunning oceanfront and begin your next nautical excursion. The tide pools are the best on the central coast, and agates are popular finds on Olivia Beach. Within Lincoln City you’ll discover a wide array of attractions, including Devil’s Lake State Park where you can spend summer days kayaking with local guides, or in the winter months, you can search the beach for glass floats! Families and friends also gather in the area for kite contests and sand castle building. Shop until you drop at the area’s outlet mall, or explore local shops within walking distance of the cabins.

For a day trip, visit Newport, offering the hip Nye Beach shopping district, Rogue Brewery and the Oregon Coast Aquarium, just 25 miles away. Next to Nye Beach there’s even a playground with a giant hillside pirate ship slide, a sure treat for the kids! Outdoor enthusiasts will especially love hiking Drift Creek Falls with it’s gorgeous suspension bridge, or exploring the amazing beauty of Cascade Head. No matter your reason for visiting Oregon’s coast, the Olivia Beach Camp Cabins will quickly become your vacation destination for years to come! The Olivia Beach community is truly one of a kind on the Oregon Coast. With this brand new construction, the quality of the home and amenities is truly top notch. They were designed to meet your every need, so you can simply sit back, relax, and enjoy.

Guest access

Key code access will be provided automatically when you book, with electronic and time sensitive codes for your convenience. The adjoining deck between the cabins and the communal fire pit are shared. The garage has been turned into a retreat/play space for use by guests at the Day Dreamer cabin (Wind Sailor guests still have access to grab bikes and beach stuff).

Guest interaction

We live in Portland and Astoria, so unless we're staying in the second cabin, we probably won't meet you. We love reading stories in the guest book, and are happy to get your feedback. You can visit our Olivia Beach Camp Cabin and other websites to learn more about us and our story.

Neighborhood overview

The Olivia Beach community is like the the "Cape Cod" of the Pacific NW. Even though the homes are newly built, the neighborhood has a quaint old-fashioned feel. With the park, pool, volleyball court, and exercise room there's enough to keep you busy without even going to the beach. The beach access is easy with three different routes (two routes by car are just minutes, walking is about 10-15).

Getting around

There isn't much transit, but there is plenty to do/eat in walking distance and grocery stores are nearby in both directions. There are lots of touristy beach shops and the outlet mall is very close. Lastly, there are two cruiser bicycles per cabin (although honestly we haven't even used them yet with everything else there is to do nearby).

Other things to note

There are only two cabins of this size/price in the Olivia Beach community (all other place are bigger and much more expensive). Rates include state and local taxes. The cabins are cozy, but they have everything you need for a getaway. We are very kid-friendly, and have baby gear like high chairs, pack-n-play, and dishes. Ask us if you have more questions...

A little of everything

The house is lovely, cozy but not at all cramped, and well supplied with all amenities. We enjoyed easy access to a heated salt-water pool and the hot tub. A thorough guest book gives you all the resources you might need for a night out or a hike on the coast. If you are at all wigged out by the idea of a tsunami you will like knowing that the house is out of the tsunami zone. The neighborhood is quiet and well insulated from the noise of the highway and of Lincoln city. The beach is not the largest, but if you hit it at low tide you can search for wonderful rocks - agates, jasper, and stones smoothed by the sea. This section of the beach is also a perfect place to fly kites. Easy access to the Oregon Aquarium in Newport. It is worth setting aside walking the Drift Creek Trail if you like ferny green trails (even in a drought year) and crossing a suspension bridge. The possible negatives are that access to the house is up 10 or so gravel stairs. Getting to the beach also takes some work -- it is a several block walk across the neighborhood, 40 stairs up on a boardwalk, crossing a quiet street, and then 110 steps down a wooden stairway to the beach (about 4 stories). We counted - a total of 150 stairs. To get my tween and teen to go more than once was difficult. To do it with toddlers would be a major undertaking. The Olivia Beach Cabins neighborhood is in Lincoln City. This could be a negative for some or a plus for others. For us it allowed a 6 minute trip to the supermarket when we forgot something we needed for dinner and a quick trip to J's fish and chips for fish tacos (well worth it!). To get into the neighborhood, you are turning directly off 101 just past the Outlet Mall which can be tricky with traffic when we visited at the end of August.

Fantastic vacation

We loved our little cottage! All the amenities were amazing, it was great to be able to cook our meals and have everything we needed. The owners were always very accessible via text/ phone for any of our needs (even on the day Miel had her baby 😀 ) the location is perfect right near the pool although it was quite chilly most days. The hot tub was such a lovely place to relax! The beach was a nice walk with our small kids in the stroller. We stopped for coffee and at the Christmas shop just around the corner. We really enjoyed our time at the coast and in the Olivia beach cabins. Hope to be back again!

Coastal Christmas

Accommodation, cleanliness, and beauty five stars. Communication was slightly lacking but overall a good experience in these picturesque small cottages.

Glad you enjoyed your stay! Sorry for not responding about early checkin on Christmas Eve. This is a peak period for us, so harder to accommodate than usual. Thanks for your understanding. I hope that we can host you again!

This cute cabin is very fun.

This cute cabin is very fun. Would love to come during the summer and rent both cabins! The guest suite was very valuable so that the in-laws had their own place to stay during our Christmas outing. Overall, very nice and fun little place.

The cabin is absolutely beautiful and is in a great little neighborhood. We had a great time walking to the beach or just enjoying the coziness of the cabin. I would highly recommend this to a small family or a couple looking for a beach getaway!

This is a cute, comfortable little vacation cabin.

This is a cute, comfortable little vacation cabin. Clean, comfortable, and if you had more people, the cabin next door is theirs as well and would make traveling with a small group easy. Located right in the middle of Lincoln city, there’s easy beach access just down the road.
