The By-the-Day Dreamer has an optional add-on in-law suite situated right behind the main cabin, next to the jacuzzi. This is only available with the main cabin rental. Encompassing 500 square feet of tastefully decorated living space, the suite features a studio with a king-sized bed, a living area with a sleeper couch, a 1-2-person dining table, a kitchenette with the basics of a small refrigerator, coffeemaker, microwave, and minimal eating utensils. Beach access is nearby via three routes, and shops and restaurants are located within easy walking distance.

Perched at the top of the Olivia Beach community, you’ll have the best of Oregon’s coast right at your doorstep! With three beach access points just minutes from the cabin, you can walk or drive to the stunning oceanfront and begin your next nautical excursion. The tide pools are the best on the central coast, and agates are popular finds on Olivia Beach. Within Lincoln City you’ll discover a wide array of attractions, including Devil’s Lake State Park where you can spend summer days kayaking with local guides, or in the winter months, you can search the beach for glass floats! Families and friends also gather in the area for kite contests and sand castle building. Shop until you drop at the area’s outlet mall, or explore local shops within walking distance of the cabins.

For a day trip, visit Newport, offering the hip Nye Beach shopping district, Rogue Brewery and the Oregon Coast Aquarium, just 25 miles away. Next to Nye Beach there’s even a playground with a giant hillside pirate ship slide, a sure treat for the kids! Outdoor enthusiasts will especially love hiking Drift Creek Falls with it’s gorgeous suspension bridge, or exploring the amazing beauty of Cascade Head. No matter your reason for visiting Oregon’s coast, the Olivia Beach Camp Cabins will quickly become your vacation destination for years to come! The Olivia Beach community is truly one of a kind on the Oregon Coast. With this brand new construction, the quality of the home and amenities is truly top notch. They were designed to meet your every need, so you can simply sit back, relax, and enjoy.

Guest access

Key code access will be provided automatically when you book, with electronic and time sensitive codes for your convenience. The adjoining deck between the cabins and the communal fire pit are shared. The garage has been turned into a retreat/play space for use by guests at the Day Dreamer cabin (Wind Sailor guests still have access to grab bikes and beach stuff).

Guest interaction

We live in Portland and Astoria, so unless we're staying in the second cabin, we probably won't meet you. We love reading stories in the guest book, and are happy to get your feedback. If we do bump into you, we are happy to connect or give you your space. You can visit our Olivia Beach Camp Cabin and other websites to learn more about us and our story.

Neighborhood overview

The Olivia Beach community is like the the "Cape Cod" of the Pacific NW. Even though the homes are newly built, the neighborhood has a quaint old-fashioned feel. With the park, pool, volleyball court, and exercise room there's enough to keep you busy without even going to the beach. The beach access is easy with three different routes (two routes by car are just minutes, walking is about 10-15).

Getting around

There isn't much transit, but there is plenty to do/eat in walking distance and grocery stores are nearby in both directions. There are lots of touristy beach shops and the outlet mall is very close. Lastly, there are two cruiser bicycles per cabin (although honestly we haven't even used them yet with everything else there is to do nearby).

Other things to note

There are only two cabins of this size/price in the Olivia Beach community (all other place are bigger and much more expensive). Rates include state and local taxes. The cabins are cozy, but they have everything you need for a getaway. We are very kid-friendly, and have baby gear like high chairs, pack-n-play, and dishes. Ask us if you have more questions.

Amazing Place

This cozy cottage with the in law suite was just what we needed. We were three couples with a 2 year old boy and a 10 year old dog. The beach was awesome too. Highly recommend it!

So cute and relaxing!

We spent a few days here with my mom. It was perfect!! We found the cabin to be the perfect size for 4 of us - 3 adults and a 13 year old. The cabin is so cute and was furnished with everything we needed. The hot tub was the perfect ending to our days! Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing vacation

Beautiful place with lots of family friendly amenities. Located near amazing places to have some great adventures while providing the comfort of a home. Take note that the city has strict recycling codes so be courteous and cautious about what you leave behind. An amazing vacation awaits!!!!!

Amazing experience

My girlfriends and I went here for my bachelorette party, because of work and busy schedules we were only able to stay one night :( but it was great!! So many things to keep you entertained whether you're stuck inside or are able to explore things outside. Lots of games to keep you busy, jacuzzi, a fire pit that we were able to make s'mores and hotdogs on, etc. Also, I loved the fact that there is a manual inside the cabin that lets you know the places around there to eat or to explore and what activities are available nearby! Not only that, but there is also a guest book that's each guest signs and leaves a note with tips or with their impressions. We found those very helpful when deciding on where to eat :) The walk to the ocean is only about 5 minutes and the view is incredible. The cabin itself is very cozy and cute and things such as utensils and toiletries are provided for you! Miel was an amazing host and responded to any question or concern in a timely manner, I will definitely be coming back here someday!
